Adult, cl III. Absence of lateral incisor
Main complaint: hollow lip, prominent mention, deviated upper mid-arch.
Treatment:
1- Correct dental camouflage compensation (lower linguoversion)
2-Correct upper arch midline
3- Correct skeletal misalignment
4- Restore missing incisor with implant-supported restoration
As chance would have it, this patient reconsulted me almost 12 years after the end of her treatment. She wanted my opinion on composite veneers and wanted to check whether an incisor had moved.
I explained that it was rather the thickness of the composite material on the centrals that gave the impression that the left lateral incisor was further back.
I recommended removing the composite on the central teeth and veneering the left lateral incisor.
