Orthodontic pre-treatment. Prominent upper incisors. Lips open at rest. Contraction of the chin muscle if lips are closed.
Ortho treatment completed. Persistence of chin contraction and leaky mention.
2 months post-genio. Labial seal at rest without muscle contraction. Straight profile.
8 mm advancement genioplasty. Osteosunsthesis with .028 ligature and trans-cortical screw. Allogeneic bone graft (Zimmer PureOs)
2 months post-op: Significant osteogenesis above the chin fragment. Bone remodelling of the notch under the basilar margin of the mandible.
