Prominent teeth, prominent lips and interincisal diastema
This patient has a Class I malocclusion with a prominent dentition (bimaxillary dentoalveolar protrusion), an interincisal diastema, labial incompetence at rest and a vertical excess of lower anterior facial height.
The aim of treatment is: 1- to reduce dentoalveolar protrusion; 2- to obtain a less convex (straighter) profile; 3- to improve smile aesthetics.
The treatment plan includes extraction of the first 4 premolars and a vertical reduction and advancement genioplasty.
