Killing two birds with one stone doesn’t always happen by chance. I had the privilege of initiating Noé Nataf’s research project and supervising him during his master’s degree in orthodontics at U de MTL. He didn’t know me. I didn’t know him. I promised him that the project I proposed would be published and presented at the AAO conference. I kept my word. As a bonus, I managed to convince the editor of the journal Orthodontie Française that the article deserved to be translated and published in their journal. I was hopeful, as he had agreed to translate the article published in Angle Ortho in 2015: Functional genioplasty in growing patient (Orthod Fr 2016# 87).
