Multidisciplinary treatment Ortho-Surgery-Prostho-Implant

Here’s a case I treated 20 years ago.
The main complaint was an unstable and unsightly upper denture.
The treatment plan involved Le Fort 1 maxillary advancement surgery.
To optimise the pre-surgical dentomaxillary relationship, I extracted a lower incisor.
Given the atrophy of the upper alveolar crest, a cortico-cancellous bone graft from the iliac crest was placed on the edentulous site.
This was followed by a keratinised tissue graft when the implants were placed.
An implant-supported prosthesis was made 2-3 months after removal of the fixed appliances.
